This project was a collaboration with a film student from IADT on Sapling, a short film exploring the journey of a young girl navigating profound bodily changes and the absence
of her mother.
The narrative follows her feelings
of disorientation, loneliness, and vulnerability in an unfamiliar world, culminating in a poignant climax where she drowns in a river wearing her mother’s wedding dress. My role involved crafting the title sequence, soundtrack, poster, and supporting materials for a cohesive communication strategy.
